AcuSound Session

Camilla & Lavina have come together to create a speacial combination of Acupuncture and Sound to support you when our clocks change from winter to spring on the weekend of the 28th March.

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture works to harmonise the flow of energy ('Qi') in the body. Fundamentally, our energies are based on yin & yang and we interact with both our internal energies and those of the environment around us.  During Winter we have energetically withdrawn into ourselves, nourishing our yin, hibernating!  As we move into Spring, our yang increases and moves outwards again, the clocks go forward & in the Northern Hemisphere as the daylight hours increase, we produce more melatonin in response.  Acupuncture at this time helps us to balance our energies, helping our bodies & minds transition into the Spring months ahead.

What to expect - 

We invite you to lie down comfortably while Lavina expalins & applies the Acupunture needles to specific points in your body. Once everyone is ready, the Sound Bath with Himalayan bowls, Crystal bowls and Gong will commence. The Acupuncture will last for 20 mins and Lavina will remove them gently & quietly while you continue to enjoy the sounds from the instruments. The combination of sound and acupuncture can take you deeper as the vibrations of the instruments relax the body further enhancing and opening the flow of Qi around the body. The sound bath will end as always, with gentle and then more stimulating percussion to bring you out of your relaxed state.

What to bring -

A Yoga mat or something soft to lie on

A blanket and cushion 

A bottle of water

Loose comfotable clothing (so Lavina can eaily access your meridian points)
